order to function well, a church must have a committed staff ready
to do the work God has given us to do, as well as ministry teams
which work to carry out the larger mission of both St. Stephen's
and the Church in general.
The Rector (known
as "senior pastor" in many Christian traditions) of St. Stephen's
serves as the senior ordained leader of our congregation, and
leads Sunday worship. He or she is also available for pastoral
care and crisis ministry.
pleased to announce that, the Rev. Victor Hailey, is now our
Rector. Beginning his ministry with St. Stephen's
on September 15, 2016 as Priest-in-Charge, Father Vic celebrated
his new ministry as rector on January 17, 2019 with Bishop Sutton
in attendance. Father Vic comes to us after serving as Assistant
Rector at St. James' in Monkton. We whole-heartedly welcome
him, wife Abby, and son William and daughter Hannah, to this community!

We are excited to announce
a new addition to our Staff: Michael Carver, Music
Director. Michael comes to us from Galesville
United Methodist Church with an impressive resume of musical experience,
ready to lead us in melodic worship.
The Parish Secretary
at St. Stephen's is Mrs. Irene Mc Entee. Irene is available in
the office Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. All questions
regarding calendar, building use, announcements for the Sunday
bulletin, and/or parish functions should be directed to her. She

The Archivist and parish historian
for St. Stephen's is Mrs. Lynn Bernard. All questions regarding
parish history, genealogical records, or parish archives should
be directed to Lynn.
Carol McNemar is our Cemetery
Administrator who coordinates burials at St. Stephen's
Cemetery and works diligently to keep records up to date.
